Furniture

Yes, as it is many individuals and businesses.  Luckily we have to show centre to reply on, so we have continued to operate online.  Deliveries are currently still available (see our Covid-19 page) and as safety is paramount, there will be restrictions in place to safeguard this which may cause some unavoidable inconvenience to us all.

Our team also work with community charities which means that we may take a little longer than normal to respond to enquiries and questions but are always available by phone when needed.

If in stock we normally deliver within 8 working days from our Oxfordshire warehouse.  Delivery can be up to 10 weeks if we are waiting for stock from exotic far off lands.  It is worth checking with us if not in stock and ordering even if not in stock, as fresh incoming stock can sell out before it reaches docks.  We deliveries are within a 3 hour time slot for your convenience.

Picture none of your tables in our warehouse but 200 being 10 days away from UK docks.  If you wait for these to arrive, we and other resellers are selling this shipped stock now and they can ‘sell out’ even before they arrive.  We recommend buying even when out of stock (call or chat to check when UK delivery is due) to reserve your products.  If the wait is too much, you can cancel your order for a full refund at any point before on when we contact you to arrange a delivery.

On the whole, yes, that’s just how you tell us you want it delivered.  Some larger heavier pieces may require some simple assembly on site.  Just ensure there is clear access into your property ready.  Our delivery is usually one man (well, person), so we may need you or your nominated strongman (OK, person) to be there to assist to a ground floor room.  I have seen many of these items as yes, they are as substantial and heavy as they look.

Our products offer great value for money and we operate on low overhead costs.  Hand finished using substantial materials we win on quality and individuality and attention to detail.  Whilst often competing against cheaper alternatives, we are confident that similar looking mass produced, lightweight products just will not compare up close.  Our FREE Delivery is not offered by all competitors who may end it as you complete an order.

Sort of but not as you know it.  We have no shop (which helps us keep costs down) and spend considerable time ensuring the build quality of any item meets our tough standards.  We do all the legwork in finding quality products to avoid you having to do so.  After all, as returning items you are dissatisfied is easy, so we really need to ensure that you are happy.

Online shopping offers speed, convenience and lower costs for you.  We appreciate that this means you cannot see a colour or grain as you would by visiting a traditional furniture store.  HWL can now go one step further by offering a number of FREE samples.  We are so confident that you will see and feel the quality place a sample order (link sample collection) and we will post them to you for FREE.

Our platform is secure and our website is registered with SSL certificate for our own protection against those hackers.  SSL is displayed in the address bar indicating a financially secure site.  We securely store your details and use a third party for payments so we do not see or hold your payment details.  Your payment provider such as credit cards may also provide indemnity cover on your purchase (refer to your provider).

A variety of sources including India and Indonesia (hence the reason for a delay in delivery when stocks run dry and why we advise ordering earlier when able).  Our responsible manufacturing partners work with materials from sustainable and recycled sources as you would expect.

Back Orders - Baumhaus products

Stock items are normally visible for you to see before you buy.  Stock levels change daily and can run low or run out.  We strongly advise that you still place an order but will have to wait until new stock is available.  Waiting until stock has arrived may be too late as sales of products continue as we await their delivery and one well placed magazine article on your favoured product can cause a massive surge in orders and disappointment for those yet to order.

You have the peace of mind of knowing that when in stock our dispatch dept will contact you to arrange delivery.  You can cancel your order for a full refund at any point until and including then.

Most orders can be delivered in these cases within 28 days but as stock is shipped in, it could be as much as 70 days.  For more details on new stock on individual items please email info@hotwishlist.com
